LC13 Memories
I really enjoyed my time as a year 5 in LC13 because it's fun and we do cool things like... IGT, The Quiz and lots of other things but If I say them all the list will get boring of exciting things.
I'm the Quiz Miss so every morning I have to set up the daily Quiz. One of my favourite things was the 2010 production, Mayhem in the Museum. Our class were the Egyptians.
We've had three student teachers... Miss Spring, Miss Morris and Mr Brookie, Each teacher had a special thing to do with us, Miss Spring- Poems and Art, Miss Morris- Cooking, Mr Brookie- The farm game.
Don't forget our man teacher.... TC!

Quiddage Writing
A while after Quiddage started, in about term 2 I think. Linda, Emma and I opened a business called 'Glitz & Glam' We did hair dressing like Braids and that sort of stuff. I know I said hair dressing but we didn't cut anyones hair we just stiled it with jell and hair spray and did stuff to it.
A while after that in about early term 3 we opened a new Business called 'Magnificent Muffins' This is a new story.
At 'Magnificent Muffins' We sold Muffins, (Obviously) We sold the following
- Cheese Muffins
- Banana Choc Chip Muffins
- Blue Berry Muffins
- Chocolate Muffins
We at the moment we aren't having anymore Quiddage but next year theres another whole year of it.

Athletics 2010
OHH NOOOOO! I shouted as the 10yr olds walked over to High Jump. The mat is really high without a bar. We had to get split up onto to groups. Boys and Girls, I was at the back of the line.
So far nearly everyone made it over except for Dionne because her foot nicked the pole and shes one of the tallest people so I thought she would jump it. Well some other people did but she was the first one to.
It's my turn, I had a really bad feeling that I might not make it, But I still don't doubt in myself. YAY!!!! I made it! I knew I could do it. Now i'm in the line for my second turn. I run up to the bar and....... Aww Man! I didn't make it. Luckily we got another turn if we didn't make it. Again I run up to the bar and jump as high as I can. YESSSS! I loudly whispered, I made it! Round three and I'm lining up again. NOOOOO!!!!! I didn't make it.
Second attempt, at round three. Aww man again! I didn't make it. Only about 3 or 4 girls did it. I got a 2. I guess it was just the mat that put me off because it was nearly as high a the bar on round one. Well at least I tried.

Self Assessment after Video
I think that I did quite well in my video because I didn't do anything weird like play with my hair or things like that but I think that I need to speak a bit louder since it was windy

Feed-Back For My PI
Mike & Linda: I found it interesting that you put weetbix in with the food. Instead of
a heap of videos find a way of making one.
Britt & Harry: I thought it was really funny when Hannah’s dad nearly threw the poo
at the camera. You needed to learn your lines a bit better and it would be better on
one whole presentation.
Alan & Kate: I like it when you interviewed the dog. You need to speak more
clearly.
Sophie & Lucy: I thought that you showed great personality and humour. You could
have put in a few more facts.
Natalya & Kennedy: I like how you had different people involved. Next time try to
get it onto one presentation.
Kale & Zia: I like how you made it funny and interesting even if you weren’t
interested in the topic. I thought you should work on putting more facts about the
breed not just your dog.
Chaz & Aidan: You were fair and honest and you put a lot of effort into it. You
should either do one big video or link them.
Sara & Alana: It was good because you actually had the type of dog. You could have
talked louder and more clearly.
Libby & Libby: You had really good humour and it was interesting. You needed to
speak more clearly.
Kelly & Emma: I like how you used the microphone. I thought because your topic
was on the breed you could have given us more information about it.
Caleb & Maddy: You obviously really enjoyed doing it and you had great info and
facts and you made it really interesting. I think you might have needed some more
info.
Hadley & Ollie: I like how you made the dog talk. I think next time you should
make it into one whole movie.
Corbie & Egg: You had good facts and humour which made it interesting as I wasn’t
really looking forward to a dog topic. You should have practiced more before you
recorded.
Nat & Luce: It was very interesting and you had lots of detail in your facts. You
could have talked more clearly and louder because when you were walking away
from the camera we couldn’t hear you.
Thomas & Grace: You really honestly must have loved the topic. It was interesting,
funny, amazing PI on the cutest little dog. I loved it. I think you needed to speak
louder.
Mum & Dad: I think you did an awesome job with the camera Hannah. You should have explained to everyone at the start that it was recorded on a normal camera with only a small amount of video space - and not on a video recorder. This meant you had to get quite close to be heard on it cos the sound quality is not great on it and also that you had to do several small videos so all the space wasn't used up. Fantastic attempt!
My feed-back (Hannah): I had fun doing it and I think that I chose an interesting topic but next time I need to speak a bit clearer.

Term 3 Home Fun Percentage
I got 86%. I was hoping for at least 90% because last time I got about 92% so I think that my term 4 goal (Get 100% for HF) Will help me.
Term 3 Goal
My goal was to be more confident with my speaking and I think that I achieved that goal because now i'm not that scared to talk in front of a large audience.

The Terrible Weather
W.A.L.T: Put it all together.
PLAN:
Lightning and Thunder. Tree fell over. Big truck. Something chopping up the wood. We got free wood at the and. They made the fence. The fence was chipped. Mr Merriman. Scary. I took photos. Windy. Dad said we could of pushed it over. Old. Snapped not uprooted. Saw dust. It looks way different. Noisy. Building people. Bright orange jackets.
STORY:
While I was school I checked my emails and Mum sent me an email that said Mr Merriman's tree fell down! When I got home I noticed that it chipped the fence, Dad said that they made that fence so I felt sorry for them. It was a really old tree though, So I think we could probably push it over. CRASH BANG BOOM! I can hear the lightning and thunder booming down from the sky like a Radio on full boar. 'I don't like it when there's lots of rain and we have to stay inside' I said to Mum. So I ran as fast as I could to get out of this boring house to the fascinating outdoors and took some photos of the People carefully cutting down the tree. They were wearing bright Orange jackets and they also had a big Yellow machine that they used to grind the big bulky wood and make it into Saw Dust. Once they were finished they let us have some of the wood. I helped Mr Merriman and Dad bring it in. I was dressed up in some of my best clothes because I was going out for dinner but I got Saw Dust all over me so I had to go upstairs and brush myself off. The next day I went outside when it was fine again and it looks quite different now because I'm used to a big tree outside their house that I can climb up. A while after that I went out the back of OUR house and one of our small fruit trees had fallen over. Luckily it uprooted and we could push it back into place. 'At least our tree didn't fall over as well' Mum said. (It was rotten so It probably would if it was windy enough) The wind was still blowing for the rest of the day.

My Best Writing Term 3
One day I was at my Nana's house and unexpectedly my dad drove there withe a cute little dog! His name was Charlie and he is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel . Charlie has a brother called Fred and sadly the got separated from each other. We have had charlie for five years now. Hes not very playful mostly sleepy. we got heaps of toys but he never plays with them so that was a wast of money. I think charlie is the best dog in the world. If we had him since he was born i wold of named him Mr Snuffles because he sniffles EVERYTHING. My friend Danielle and i used to call him super vacuum cleaner a few years ago , then he ate any food that fell on the floor. Charlie always chases flies and birds. I think that Charlie is a really fast dog when we take him for walks but when were at home he is always lazy and sleeps all day. My parents and I always call him little walie dog.
This is my best piece of writing because I made it interesting for the reader and added weird facts about my dog Charlie.

My Best Visual Language Term 3
What did I do well: I used bright and dull colors to make it stand out. (The scanner made it fade)
What did I learn: That I need to make the title relate to the topic.
My next step: To color evenly.
Maths Videos
I think that I did quite well because we tried to work out the answers first and we used the strategy that T.C told us and it works out quite well if you don't know it because you use your times tables to work it out. Next time we needed to ex plane it a bit clearer.

Peter Spelling Test
I think I did quite well in my test because I got a percentage of 13yr which is quite good because I'm only nine. Next time I need to take more time on some of my words.

Maths Tests Term 3
I didn't do very on my times tables because I had to resit my test my test but after that I got them all right. I did better than I expected with my divisions because I got 92%. I'm glad that I passed all on my tests though.
